What’s the deal with carbon monoxide detectors requirements for 2010 in W-S?

I called Winston Salem City Link and they said that Winston Salem has NO REQUIREMENTS FOR CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS.

I’m sure that will change soon but right now it’s not a requirement. However I think it is a good idea anyway. Safer for the Tenants and safer for the Property too. I’m going to price them and see how has them in for a volume discount.

I want to thank everyone who braved the cold and came to our first REIA meeting of 2010. We discussed a lot of issues including that there is much FOR SALE and many great opportunities out there now. Including some deals that were presented last night. Jeff Geary spoke about the lending environment and some ways to negotiate it and some ways to take advantage too. Also we reviewed the new website. including this BLOG page and it’s ability to interact between all of our members. I am very exited about the new site and we hope to have the Member portion of the site operational by the February Meeting. Good luck to everyone in the new year.

PTREIA Meetings

PTRIEA general meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of each month at The Village Inn & Conference Center located at 6205 Ramada Drive in Clemmons, N.C. 27012

6:30-7:00 pm Networking
Main Meeting Starts @ 7:00pm

Meetings are only $10.00/person or $15.00/per couple at the door. We will be accepting annual memberships soon.
Sub-Groups

Friday Breakfast Every Friday morning, breakfast at I-HOP starts at 7:30 am (1295 Silas Creek Pkwy in Winston Salem).

Rooming House Sub-Group Our Rooming House sub-group meets the 1st Thursday of every month at Boarders Books "Thruway Shopping Center" on Stratford Road. We begin the meeting at 10:00 AM. At this time we are discussing the recent UDO 166 criteria that went into effect on January 1st 2009.
